After not being able to detain Dr. Zaw Wai Soe, an orthopeadic surgeon turned acting Union Minister of CRPH, SAC has been arresting his former students and close associates.
Since the second week of February, an arrest warrant for Dr. Zaw Wai Soe was issued and since then there were many rumors of his arrest. However, Dr. Zaw Wai Soe remains free.
Sources who are closed with the families claims that is why his former students and close associates were being targeted. The first to be arrested for such reason is Dr. Kyaw Min Soe, fellow orthopedic surgeon and a professor from University of Medicine (1).
He was arrested last week. The second detainee is Professor Dr. Maw Maw Oo, Head of the Department of YGH”s Emergency Department.
